Create a Witchy Self-Care Kit

28 Days of Witchy Self-Care – Day 3

When you’re having a rough day, magickal self-care can make all the difference. A meditation by candlelight, affirmations said into a mirror, or a spell jar to carry with you are all easy ways to boost your mood, your self-esteem or your self-confidence. But if you’re like me, the last thing you want to do when you’re feeling low is try to locate candles, herbs or the right spell.

I want to encourage you to make a witchy self-care kit that has the supplies you need when you need it. This kit can be used for on-the-spot self-care or you can plan out self-care rituals for each week or each month, and your supplies will conveniently be in one place.

So what should you put in it? Anything that you associate with self-care, comfort or self-love. All month long, I will be giving you ideas for spells, visualizations, correspondences and other tips. If you run across ideas that resonate with you, add them to your kit. You can add to it over the month or take as much time as you need. I am going to give you some ideas of things to add to your kit, but if you are comforted by different stones or colors than I suggest, go with your own intuition. I believe magick is very personal to each one of us, and if something works for you, go with it.
