Using Shells In Magick – Finding Magick in the Everyday

Today is National Seashell Day in the US. Use them to hold candles, sand, salt, water or herbs. Since shells have long been associated with currency, try a money spell with them. Or use shells in protective magick imagining your own protective shell.

I personally only work with shells that I find myself. I don’t like to buy commercially harvested shells. I don’t live near an ocean at all but my local river always has little shells from the mussels that live in the freshwater. Or you can draw a shell or create one out of clay to use on your altar.

How can you use seashells in your magick today? I’d love to hear how you use them!
